Intel is a packer, not a fifth store. You buy a named job: a cited assembly from the stores, or a priced report. You do not send a free-text prompt. Two list prices. REST, MCP, SDK, and CLI use the same SKU. The channel is not a discount. Internal store hops the packer makes are not billed separately. A situations list row remains a $0.03 store read. The deal brief is the pack.

Required identity, not a prompt

POST a job type plus the identity fields for that job. Do not send an open question. Letters and authenticated situations are gated. Those jobs 404 when that store is dark. Check availability on the catalog before you depend on them. Company overview and ?include= enrichments are not intel jobs.

Create, then poll

POST /v1/intelligence/query returns 200 with a completed result or 202 with a job id. Poll GET /v1/intelligence/query/{jobId} to a final state. Handle 202, 404, and 502 as distinct outcomes. A working report call:

Send job plus the required identity fields from the table. Do not send a free-text prompt. Open prompt-only bodies are rejected. If the work is queued, poll:

Billing

  • One debit on successful completion. Failed, cancelled, or 4xx jobs are not billed.
  • In-flight reuse of the same Idempotency-Key returns 409 with Retry-After.
  • A $0.05 factor decomposition is a store read. The intel job that uses a decomposition is move_brief at $0.50, or a report if it synthesizes further.
  • MCP tool discovery is free. An intel pack through MCP is $0.50. An intel report through MCP is $1.50.
Prepaid savings apply to the same list: pay $45 for $50 in credits (save 10%). See plans and pricing.
